Emergency
Room. Although we can access
your records, we must ask you

medical conditions and surgeries.

- We are bound to protect your
privacy and
confidentiality

much as possible.

- If you have a condition that
requires urgent consultation
with a specialist, we will arrange
for your transfer to a
higher level
of care. Our physician must
speak with a
physician specialist
who will accept you for
care
and the
accepting
hospital
must have a bed available
for you.

- If you call the Emergency
Room on the telephone for
advice about your or a family
members condition or
symptoms,
we cannot give you advice
over the
phone
for legal
liability reasons.

- We are also prohibited by
Policy from disclosing the
name
of the Emergency Room physician
on duty.

The Emergency Room has four (4) beds. The Emergency Room physicians
and nurses
will allow a family member to accompany you whenever possible.
A Parent will
always accompany a minor child.
